8/4/2008 - Contact Importing is Back You can now import contacts again using csv. Go to Contacts > Import to use this feature. 7/17/2008 - Intranet Usage Usage of the OfficeZilla system is way up since moving data centers. Usage Graph 7/15/2008 - Signup form improvements New users creating an account can now pick there timezone, modules, and language from the signup form. 7/14/2008 - Mail Fix, now deletes mail off server For some time now there has been an issue with the pop mail not deleting messages off the mail server which in turn eventually caused the mail to slow down because it would have to download each message again to show the new ones. This is now resolved. 7/12/2008 - Private messages now sends email alert When you send a private message it now alerts the recipient that there are new private messages waiting to be read. 7/1/2008 - Franchise Intranet System Our first vertical market offering for franchise systems (press release) to create a communicative environment for there franchisees. www.Toblie.com 6/28/2008 - Project Manager Tutorial New Project Manager Tutorial. 6/22/2008 - Sunday Downtime One of the network cards in the primary web server went bad or if not bad, got funky. This has been resolved and the system was back online about 11pm on Sunday (Pacific Time Zone). 5/17/2008 - First Customization Customer AgentHR.com is our first customization customer. See the results. 5/16/2008 - POP3 Mail Update The mail module now displays how many messages are in each folder along with (what was previously there) the unread mail count. Just because you have read all of your mail in any particular folder doesn't mean you have taken action on that mail yet, this feature will help alert you to where you have the most mail and remind you that you have messages in the folder. While we are on the subject of email, I never posted some new mail features from a few months back: 5/1/2008 - Custom login html update As you know, there is login code you can put on your website so your users can login to your OfficeZilla account from your site. This code is available from the Admin page, bottom right hand side under "Custom Login Form Code". The code has now been updated so that the alignment of the fields will stay in place even if your site is forcing the alignment to (frankly) look crazy. So if you have the login form on your site and it doesn't look nice, copy and paste this new one over your old one. 4/30/2008 - Minor Updates The shortcuts feature is now optional. Go to Admin > Configuration > Modules to turn it on. Shortcuts allow your users to make a page of quick links to different information in your groupware. While I think everyone would want that functionality (I am always right! right?) it is now optional!. The calendar print feature was only printing the current day rather then the day you were on (say you went a day or month ahead), it was meant to print any day, now it does.
4/17/2008 - Mail Issues with IMAP There are issues with the OfficeZilla IMAP implementation in the Mail module so our IMAP functionality is offline until further notice. You can still use your POP3 accounts, just not IMAP accounts.
4/17/2008 - Feature Update In the Project Manager on the project display page it now shows what group each project is in and you can now sort on the columns. Each project task now shows what project it is in (so you don't lose track of where you are at).
4/7/2008 - New Feature There is a now a "Secure Logout" link that you can use when using a public computer that will delete out your session information more thoroughly then the regular logout link.
3/15/2008 - Feature Update You can now see messages you have sent using the Private Messages module. Click on Private Messages on the main navigation then click on Sent Messages. If you don't have Private Messages turned on you can turn it on from Admin > Configuration > Modules.
3/1/2008 - New Feature You can now customize the module names on the main navigational menu. Go to Admin > Configuration then click on Modules. Type in your own names then log out and log back in. You will see the updates. For example you might want to rename Files to Company Documents or Directory to Company Directory. With this feature you can further personalize how your OfficeZilla looks to your users.
2/28/2008 - New Feature You can now broadcast private messages to groups or to all users at once. This is similar to the broadcast email feature except these are internal messages that go to the new Private Messages module instead of out to email. Only administrators can broadcast private messages, to find it go to Admin then click on "Send Private Messages"
2/25/2008 - Misc. Updates Gone Awry Issues with files, forums, calendars, pop mail have been resolved after a code update broke things. Everything is now back in working order.
2/23/2008 - New Servers and Server Location In order to accommodate future growth we have purchased a number of new servers and are hosting them at a new hosting facility. This has multiplied the amount of bandwidth the system has and added redundancy to the system that now totals 3 web servers, 2 database servers, and 2 Network Attached Storage Devices. As usual there are no restrictions on files, users, or groups and the system is still 5 years ad free.
2/20/2008 - New Features 'Directory' and 'Private Messages' Directory: The Directory is a new module that you can select from Admin > Configuration. The Directory feature is a "company" or "organization" directory. It displays a list of those in your office. Some of you may have been using the contact manager for the same functionality. A user can choose not to be displayed in the directory, they just click on Options then uncheck the Directory checkbox. Private Messaging: The new Private Message feature allows users to send each other a message that displays in the Private Message module, on the homepage, and in the What's New section. A Private Message icon is next to each user in the Directory module. Users can private message each other from there. Users can turn off the directory private message icon next to there name by clicking on Options then unlick Private Messaging.
