There are very few others that have been online as long as OfficeZilla.

History of OfficeZilla:

The inspiration for OfficeZilla came back in about 2000 to 2001. I was using a system similar to OfficeZilla and they went out of business, I didn't think much about it. The next time I went to the companies homepage I found that they were for sale by the local sheriff! I didn't know a company with hundreds of millions of dollars in venture capital could end up for sale that way.

The more I thought about this company that was sold by the sheriff's office I decided I could do the same thing without ever being in a place where it would have to be shut down. My view was, if the the code works and hosting is affordable then why would you shut down a web application that can basically subsist on it's own? So here is OfficeZilla and OfficeZilla just works. Most people don't believe that I could have made this on my own, pay for hosting, and put my personal cellular phone number on the site (619) 873-5648... all I can do is feel sorry for those who think that way!

OfficeZilla 2008:

OfficeZilla has 17,837 organizations using the system. Lots of non-profit organizations, business groups, law offices, virtual assistants, real estate agents & brokers, title companies, local government agencies, homeowner associations and many others. In total there are 40,524 users in those 17,837 organizations on the OfficeZilla platform and that is growing every day.

Today for example there will be between 15 to 25 organizations who sign up. Those organizations will either not use the system or add up to 5 to 900 people to the system. I can never tell who is really going to use it or who will drift away, not reaching their goal of collaborating online.
